CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: How can the smallest of constructions change a natural environment? With a backpack stuffed with her portable stairs, Andréanne invites you to show her the special places and spaces that you cherish around Sackville. These walks can occur at any time you would like, really early in the morning, late at night, or in the brightness of day. She is always up for a challenge. Write her an email at andreanne.godin@gmail.com

“A sense of belonging towards a territory, towards a community, towards a piece of land is what grounds us. The place where I was brought up has aroused awareness towards the way we see, treat and exploit the land on which we live. Inspired from my childhood reality I now share the stories that built my story.

Even if my work sometimes materialises itself as installations, sculptures or even sound works, it emerges from a desire to deconstruct the concept of drawing. It also aims to occupy the space and create a dialogue with the viewer, often referring to childhood memories or passed events. .

I wish to stimulate the collective memory of a forgotten space.”
