Beth Frey is a Montreal-based artist working in drawing, sculpture, installation and performance. Using humour and pathos, Frey examines the boundaries and ruptures of the body as sites of growth and creativity vis-a-vis the boundaries and ruptures intrinsic to the art objects she creates.

She has shown in galleries across Canada, as well as in the US, Mexico, and Morocco. Frey has recently completed an MFA at Concordia University, and acted as researcher-in-residence at Centre des arts actuels Skol. Her illustration work has been published in a number of Canadian magazines enjoyed a viral moment with features in the Huffington Post and eTalk Daily.
