A Handmade Assembly, a four-day event organized by the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, brings together artists, curators and others to share in a common thread, the handmade.
We are looking for participants to lead artist talks and discussions, facilitate workshops and initiate projects and performances during this year’s event.
If you are interested in being a part of A Handmade Assembly, please send us:
- A brief bio and description of your art practice or area of research (500 words)
- An idea of what you might like to contribute to the Assembly (talk, workshop, project, etc)
- Your Curriculum Vitae
- A link to your website or up to 10 images of your work

Artist fees, travel expenses, per diem and accommodation will be paid by the hosting organizations.

A Handmade Assembly, un événement de quatre jours organisé par la Owens Art Gallery et Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, réunit des artistes, des commissaires et d’autres pour partager un motif commun, celui de la main.
Nous sommes à la recherche de participants pour animer des discussions et des conférences d’artistes, pour animer des ateliers et pour lancer des projets et des performances durant l’événement de cette année.
Si vous désirez faire partie de cet événement, veuillez nous envoyer:
- Une brève biographie et une description de votre pratique artistique ou domaine de recherche (500 mots) 2. Une idée de ce que vous aimeriez contribuer à l’Assemblée (discussion, atelier, projet, etc.)
