Participants of this three-day series will construct their own camera obscura, create photographic prints and drawings using their cameras and learn how to combine drawing and photography using liquid emulsion. Pleas bring a tripod to use with your camera.

Build your Own Camera Obscura Workshop – Day One – Thursday July 9, 5:00pm
Day one of the workshop will involve the construction of a camera obscura and accompanying film holder that each participant will get to keep.
Build your Own Camera Obscura Workshop – Day Two – Thursday July 16, 5:00pm
Day two the workshop will go outside to create an image that is rendered both with pencil and with photographic paper.
Liquid Emulsion Workshop – Day Three – Thursday July 23, 5:00pm
This one day workshop will cover the basics of working with liquid emulsion as a means of creating unique had made photographic prints on almost any surface. Participants that have attended the first two days can also learn how to integrate their photographic prints with their drawings.
