Part of A Handmade Assembly

Location: Royal Canadian Legion

~ an adventure in increasing and decreasing

This shawl features a simple and repetitive pattern creating an asymmetrical shallow trapezoid that looks great in a hand dyed yarn. This workshop is ideal for beginner knitters who have never followed a pattern before, or those with more experience who are intrigued by how to knit a garter shawl on the bias using increases.

Participants should bring a 4mm straight or circular knitting needle and 475 yards of any fingering weight yarn of your choosing. Alternatively, Megan’s “Lichen and Lace” hand dyed yarn can be purchased for $20 when you arrive at the workshop. Pattern will be provided.

Space is limited, please register in advance: info@strutsgallery.ca
