Reynolds and Swintak are collaborative partners in the creation of transAMreceiver. This off-site installation will be located just outside of Struts Gallery on Lorne Street. The work will appear as a crashed car with a large antenna attached to its roof. The inside of the car is adorned with various electro-magnetic hardwares associated with radio frequency broadcasts, and emits sounds similar to a live radio broadcast. This ‘fictive’ broadcast is of a panel discussion about the biological effects associated with electromagnetic radiation, and assumes a paranoid tone.
