Rémi Belliveau is an Acadian multidisciplinary artist from Memramcook, New Brunswick. During his Ease on Down the Road Residency, Rémi will be working on a sound-art choreography for two turntables as well as preparing elements for an installation. This project, tentatively titled Dissonances Rurales, is funded by artsnb.
Rémi’s recent group shows include Writing Topography at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Holding the Pose at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery. He currently co-directs Galerie Sans Nom in Moncton and was a part-time lecturer of Acadian art history at Université de Moncton this past winter.
Ease on Down the Road is an invitational residency for emerging artists to produce a media art project using the centre’s equipment and technical resources.
