Lisa Theriault’s ‘The Housesitter’ is a short film about a recent graduate who is housesitting for the summer. Still dealing with the stress and anxiety of finishing school and finding her way in the world, she similarly struggles to find her way around someone else’s home while caring for the house cat, Mackerel. By embracing what the house has to offer, she begins to find peace in herself.
Lisa Theriault is an artist originally from Atlantic Canada, now based in Montreal, QC. She graduated with a BFA from Mount Allison University in 2014 and has exhibited her work in various venues in Atlantic Canada, including Galerie Sans Nom (NB), Saint John Arts Centre (NB), Owens Art Gallery (NB), and small town market gallery (PE).
